GET CAPE WEAR CAPE GIG

Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly is one man with a laptop, a guitar and a trumpet player from time to time. He's been described as a modern day Billy Bragg, making incredibly inspired, sometimes political music, and played over 300 gigs last year. This is his first proper gig in Cardiff, having been championed on Radio 1, played rammed gigs at South by South West, released a limited edition 10" EP and signed to a major. Come see him do his thing!

Juanita Family and Friends come straight off the streets of Austin, Texas in the US of A. They have one self released album, Songs of Mehitabel, that astounds at every listen. They're a country band who sing of love, hope and weed. Frontwoman Lana Rebel (her real name) has had critics getting excited in the states, and Julianne Sheppard from the Portland
Mercury (us neither) said 'Lana's voice is so scraggy-warm and lilting you might faint or spill a tear into your Pabst'. If anyone knows what Pabst is, can you let us know? Their performance is a one off, special gig with their first UK visit kicking off at Clwb, and not to be missed.

Support comes from A Lilly, making a special appearance, and Radio 1's Huw Stephens.
